What is a bodyage?

Do you know your biological age or have you ever thought about having it calculated? Your biological age depends on your state of health. Your lifestyle and priorities therefore have a big impact on how healthy you are.

How do you get a body composition test?

Health Group offers health checks, which aim to provide an overall health status of the individual employee. The employee can receive advice and knowledge from a health professional consultant. In the health check, a number of physical measurements are made in relation to the body's state of health. Based on the physical measurements, a Bodyage can be calculated, which gives the employee an idea of how good a state of health they have in relation to their target group. If you are in good shape and you value your health and health relatively highly, your body can be measured to be younger than your real age. The physical measurements used to calculate your Bodyage consist of:

  • Blood test measurements in terms of one's total cholesterol and HDL cholesterol
  • Blood pressure measurement in terms of systolic and diastolic blood pressure
  • Fat percentage measurement
  • VO2 Max. Measurement (Maximum volume of oxygen you can take in per minute per kilogram of body weight)
  • Whether you are a smoker or non-smoker

Bodyage as a motivational tool:

As mentioned earlier, the result of one's Bodyage can be used to assess how good one's state of health is. It is often useful in a process where there is an opportunity for dialog about changing habits. Bodyage can therefore be used as a motivational tool to follow a development over time with changes in lifestyle habits if you want to achieve weight loss or build a healthier lifestyle. Tips to keep your body healthy and young:

  • Exercise regularly during the week. Physical fitness has a big impact on your health and body.
