Introduction of the massage scheme
Regular visits from your regular masseuse

Massage at work makes employees happier
A massage program at the workplace gives employees a much-needed respite from a busy day. It acts as a mental break, where the body relaxes and the mind calms down. The result is higher well-being, less tension and increased job satisfaction.
Whether you have sedentary office work, physically demanding tasks in the warehouse, or want to prevent work-related injuries, regular visits to a masseuse are an effective investment in the working environment.
With Health Group as your partner, you get a reliable, professional solution that helps create happier employees and contribute to higher productivity throughout the organization.
The pharmaceutical industry association about the massage scheme
Meet a satisfied customer
In this video, Helle Dyjak, team leader at Medicin.dk, talks about the collaboration with Health Group. In addition to massage, Health Group has assisted Medicin.dk with an ergonomic review and workplace assessment.
Hear Helle talk about all the benefits of the massage scheme at Health Group – including in-house treatment, the option of a gross salary scheme, and our ability to listen and adapt our solutions to the needs of each company.
An investment in both physical and mental health
Physical benefits of regular massage
Massage lowers the body's levels of the stress hormone cortisol, which has a negative impact on the immune system. When cortisol levels fall, the body's ability to fight disease is strengthened.
A study from the University of South Florida has shown that just 10 minutes of massage three times a week for three weeks can significantly lower blood pressure in people with high blood pressure.
In other words, a massage program can have a direct effect on employees' general health. This means fewer sick days – and thus increased efficiency.
Mental benefits of massage
Massage has a positive effect on the body's biochemistry. A study from the University of Miami School of Medicine shows that massage reduces stress-related problems by up to 53%. It also increases levels of serotonin and dopamine – the brain's “happy chemicals”.
Massage can therefore help reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression as well as increase general mental resilience.
Financing solutions – your financing options
At Health Group, you have several options for financing massage at work. Many companies choose to finance the scheme via a gross salary scheme, where employees pay for the massage before tax through their salary.
But you also have the option to split the payment between company and employee, and we also offer a MobilePay scheme. Here you can read more about the financing options at Health Group.
Gross salary scheme
Employees pay for the massage program through their pre-tax salary. This means a lower real cost for the individual – and, most importantly, no extra costs for the company.
Flexible financing
Employee and company share the expense – typically 50/50. Shared financing makes it possible to offer an attractive employee benefit without bearing the entire cost.
MobilePay scheme
Employees pay for the massage via MobilePay. You choose whether the employees pay the full amount themselves or whether the company covers some of the cost.
Part of an attractive workplace
A massage program is an employee benefit that increases employee well-being and makes your workplace more attractive to new employees.
And with Health Group as your supplier, you will be assigned a permanent masseur with several years of experience in corporate massage. That way, you are guaranteed both high quality and a massage therapist who knows your needs.
The 4 most important goals of a massage program
At Health Group, our massage program has been developed with one clear goal: to strengthen both the physical and mental working environment. Here are the four key areas where the program makes a difference:.
Regular massage at the workplace helps to:
-
Prevent and relieve physical stress
Relaxation massage helps reduce swelling and muscle tension – especially in employees who experience one-sided movements or sedentary work. It gives the body a break and prevents work-related discomfort. -
Treat myosis and tension injuries
Physiotherapy massage goes deep and loosens up myoses and waste accumulations. It can relieve tension headaches, neck pain and other musculoskeletal discomforts. -
Reduce stress and promote mental well-being
Touch through massage releases oxytocin – the body’s natural “feel-good” chemical – which reduces stress and promotes feelings of calm and balance. The massage regimen is therefore also an effective measure against psychological stress. -
Retain employees – and attract new ones
A massage program is a concrete signal that you prioritize employee well-being. It makes the workplace more attractive – both for current and future employees – and contributes to lower absenteeism and higher satisfaction.
