Ergonomic review - Ergonomic counseling in the workplace

Today, more and more people are suffering occupational injuries as a result of inappropriate working postures and incorrect settings of tables and chairs. As an employer, it is therefore important to ensure that the physical working conditions are organized in such a way that employees have the best conditions to avoid pain and discomfort - and in the worst case scenario, long-term injuries.

During an ergonomic review, we make sure that the physical working conditions are organized in a way that employees have the best conditions to avoid pain and discomfort - and in the worst case scenario, long-term injuries. Our physiotherapist will visit your workplace and go through specific exercises, set up workstations and advise on healthy work and lifestyle habits. The review can also be done online if preferred.

Invest in the well-being and health of your employees

With an ergonomic review, you invest in your employees' well-being, health and general well-being at work. Each employee's workplace is reviewed to assess the ergonomic conditions - including working postures and workplace layout. Advice, settings and adjustments are made to ensure that the workstation is ergonomically correct.

In addition, guidance is provided on the responsibility of each individual employee to avoid discomfort from sedentary work. Examples include physical activity, changing sitting positions and a healthy diet.
Therefore, ergonomic conditions are important for your company:

  • Ensuring a healthy workforce
  • Increases efficiency due to better working postures
  • Creates a work culture where employees feel cared for
  • Overall increased well-being of employees

The consultant is an authorized physiotherapist or occupational therapist specializing in the working environment. If you want a more comprehensive review with an associated training plan and more injury prevention elements, we offer combination treatments where the ergonomic review is also included.

This is done through an ergonomic review

During the ergonomic review, we review all employees in the company in order to assess the ergonomic conditions. In addition, we specifically ask about the individual's perception of the causes of any discomfort.

It is important for us to create a safe dialog so that we can help design the best framework for each employee. In addition, we also provide guidance on the individual's responsibility to avoid discomfort from sedentary work - for example through physical activity, changing sitting positions and a healthy diet.

Ergonomic review point by point:

  1. The physiotherapist reviews each employee's workstation, observes, and makes adjustments.
  2. We advise and have a good dialog with the individual employee about any existing nuisances.
  3. We instruct in exercises with rubber bands. Subsequently, the elastics and a program will be handed out.
Our occupational and physiotherapists register any suggestions for improvements, which will be sent afterwards.

Overall, our focus on each individual employee will last between 30-40 minutes. It is also recommended that a follow-up is carried out no later than three months after the first round.
