Acture enters the Scandinavian market with the acquisition of Health Group A/S
Acture, a leading Dutch company within well-being and absence management, takes a major step in its European development with the acquisition of Danish Health Group A/S. The acquisition marks an important milestone in Acture's growth strategy in Europe, strengthens the company's presence across the continent and provides a solid foundation for further development in Scandinavia.
Maudie Derks, Group CEO of Acture, points out:
"We see Health Group as a very strong and highly forward-looking company, and their proven track record in the Danish market make them an ideal partner for our European ambitions. By combining Acture's extensive expertise on Employee Welfare Management with Health Group's proven capabilities, we believe we can create meaningful long-term value for both clients and employees."
European growth with a Danish foundation
Acture employs around 600 people and is a strong player in workers' compensation insurance and digital health solutions. In recent years, the company has invested heavily in acquisitions, including four German digital health companies. With the acquisition of Health Group, Acture is taking the next step in its European development.
For Health Group, the acquisition means new growth opportunities and access to a broader range of healthcare and insurance solutions that will benefit both customers and employees.
Tim Herbst, founder and current chairman of Health Group A/S, elaborates:
"When I founded Health Group back in 2000, I could hardly imagine the journey that has brought us here 25 years later. Together with my wife Irene Herbst, I have had the privilege of running and developing the company, which of course makes it a bit sad to say goodbye.
At the same time, we are both very excited about this new chapter. Acture has clear ambitions for European expansion and has recognized the potential we have built in Health Group - through our customers, our growth, our solutions and not least our employees and the results that CEO Adam Rosenkilde has created."
What does the acquisition mean?
Adam Rosenkilde, CEO, on the acquisition:
Health Group will continue day-to-day operations as before, ensuring continuity for customers, partners and employees. At the same time, the integration with Acture opens up a wider range of services and solutions, allowing Health Group to complement its existing offerings with Acture's strong competencies within insurance and digital health.
"For me personally - and for the entire Health Group team - the acquisition of Acture means a lot and gives us the opportunity to build on the best year in Health Group's history. We clearly share Acture's vision and values and I am convinced that this partnership will create strong synergies.
For our customers, it means access to broader solutions and continued high quality, and for our employees it offers new opportunities to develop as part of an ambitious international group."
