When we perform a health check, we customize the individual employee's health profile, which includes a number of physical measurements that provide detailed knowledge about the body's general state of health. Among other things, we measure blood sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure, which forms the framework for the subsequent work process.

In addition, the check-up involves a questionnaire covering health, well-being and exercise, as well as an empathic and motivational interview and counseling. These are based on the results of the health profile and will be tailored to the employee's needs, with a specialized focus on either diet, exercise or sleep.

Purpose of a health check

How does a pathway work?

At Health Group, we conduct our health checks with the employee at the center, which means that we have our health consultants in the leading advisory role. A typical process will be structured according to some simple and manageable steps:

  • Start-up
    The process is launched with a start-up meeting with the company and a motivational kick-off lecture in the company of the employees. This can be done online or in person as needed.
  • Planning and scheduling
    The program is planned by the employees booking the room for the health profiles at the company's location. We then manage your registrations in our health portal, where you will also receive practical information.
  • Preparation for the check-up
    In preparation for the health check, employees complete an online health interview in our online portal.
  • Running the check
    To run the check-up, we set up all the measuring equipment and test 8-10 employees per day. Each employee is given a detailed picture of their health status through physical measurements.
  • Next steps
    After the physical measurements, one of our experienced health consultants will help the employee review the results and advise them on how to act on the results in the future.
  • Results
    Employees are then given a personal health folder with their results and an action plan. Based on the health check, all employees are given suggestions for possible supporting activities.
  • Presentation
    The company can obtain an anonymized report of average results. In addition, employees will have access to a hotline where they can get answers to any questions they may have.

Confectionery tests

The physical measurements consist, in addition to a wide range of other physiological measurements, of a fitness test from which we can derive the fitness level of employees. The fitness level is a very important factor in assessing the overall health parameter, as it indicates the general state of health.

It is basically a measure of human fitness that tells us how efficient our circulatory system is and how much oxygen can be transported in the blood. A high fitness level can therefore significantly improve both overall quality of life and longevity.

If your fitness level is not high, don't worry - it's easy to start improving it. The most important thing you can do to improve your fitness level is to do physical activity that gets your heart rate up - for example, running, swimming or cycling. By the way, the fitness test is not as demanding as many people think.

At Health Group, we use a cycle ergometer and chest strap to measure your fitness level, as this is currently the simplest and most accurate way to perform the measurement.

The health check lasts 30-60 minutes per employee, depending on the model requested. We are always working to develop and optimize our processes to ensure the highest quality of our work.
