You'll find several benefits to offering your employees a corporate massage program. Of course, the obvious and most important benefit is that you're looking after your employees' health so that they can continue to be effective and happy in the workplace. It also reflects a good and healthy workplace when management wants to take care of their employees' health. In addition to the obvious benefits, there are some practical benefits to offering corporate massage in your workplace

In 2006, the Tax Council changed the previous practice, allowing employers to offer their employees a massage scheme at the workplace. The treatment offered is based on a physiotherapeutic massage aimed at preventing work-related injuries in return for a reduction in gross salary. The change has been adopted in light of the fact that the majority of employees in workplaces spend many hours each working day at a desk in front of a computer.

In practical terms, the treatments offered will have a duration of 30 minutes per session and will take place on the employer's premises during normal working hours. The massage will be carried out by a certified masseur with a focus on pain relief or prevention of occupational injuries and discomfort that may arise from sedentary work, inappropriate postures, computer work, etc. The treatment is carried out to prevent or relieve neck and back tension or injuries, mouse arm and similar occupational injuries.

The adoption of the amendment also states that the employer gives the employee time off to have the treatment with full pay - however, it is the employees themselves who must pay for the treatment through gross payroll deductions. The treatment is tax-free as long as it is for the treatment or prevention of work-related injuries and discomfort.
